In 2010, the National Mint and Stamp Factory began a series of commemorative 2 Euro coins dedicated to commemorating goods and places listed as UNESCO World Heritage. This year, 2024, the broadcast is dedicated to the complex formed by the Seville Cathedral, the Real Alcázar of Seville and the Archive of the Indies, historical monuments declared World Heritage in 1987. On the obverse, the representation of the Patio de las Doncellas, located in the Real Alcázar of Seville, stands out, while on the reverse we find the representation of its face value.
