A superb high-grade example of the final pre-war Belgian 20 Francs issue of Albert I.
Struck in 1914, the year Belgium was drawn into the First World War, this issue has particular historical appeal. The obverse features the military portrait of King Albert I, while the French-language legend identifies this as the French, Position A variety.
Certified NGC MS65, the coin displays excellent mint-state preservation with strong lustre and very limited marks.
