This Canadian gold coin combines the iconic Maple Leaf design with a rare special edition: a reverse-proof strike featuring the centenary privy mark “100” and the double year 1911-2011. This creates a distinctly numismatic character that goes beyond the classic 1 oz Maple Leaf issue. Furthermore, the very limited mintage makes this issue particularly attractive to collectors specifically seeking modern rarities with a clear historical significance.

The reverse features the maple leaf motif, flanked by the fineness mark 9999, as well as the legends FINE GOLD and 1 OZ OR PUR.
