The elevation of Willem Friso of Orange to Stadholder Willem IV saw many medals produced; this contemporaneous cast (after an original of medalist N. Van Swinderen) was likely worn by a staunch supporter of the house of Orange. By Nicolaas van Swinderen (1705-1760)
