Issue corresponding to the year 2026, with a face value of 500 CFA Francs in silver struck in PROOF quality, issued by Cameroon and produced by Mennica Polska, within the Dinosauria series, dedicated to the Pterodactylus.

The coin is struck in pure silver of .999 fineness, with a PROOF finish that combines mirror fields and highly defined matte reliefs. It also incorporates selective coloration, a common feature of the series, which enhances the visual appearance of the piece.

The coin has a latent image, which makes the dinosaur open and close its mouth.

The main motif shows a Pterodactylus hatching from an egg, represented with great detail and realism, accompanied by a prehistoric setting that reinforces the scene. One of the most emblematic species of the Jurassic period.

The obverse (side with the official legends) includes the inscriptions of the Republic of Cameroon, the face value of 500 FRANCS CFA, the year 2026 and the specifications of the piece, integrated into the design.

The coin is presented in its official case with certificate of authenticity. Limited mintage issue, very attractive for collectors of modern thematic coins, especially within dinosaur and paleontology series.
