Reverse: Inscription in French and Dutch surrounding a cross at top:
"Avant qu’on anéantisse notre armée il faut qu’on me marche sur le corps."
(Before they destroy my army, they must march over my body.)
"Vooraleer mijn leger te vernietigen zal men over mijn lichaam moeten trappen."
Signed "Albert". Around: "POUR LA CROIX ROUGE – VOOR HET ROODE KRUIS – 1914".
