Reverse: Inscription in seven lines within a laurel wreath: "FESTIVAL ET CONCOURS DE TIR DU 8 JUILLET 1888".

This medal was issued for the shooting festival and competition held on 8 July 1888 in Pepinster, a municipality in the province of Liège. Such events were popular in 19th-century Belgium, where local shooting guilds and associations organized contests combining marksmanship with civic pride.
