2) The corresponding SSL server is identified and remains fixed during the connection.
3) Various algorithms will ensure that all data will be transmitted completely and unchanged.

The most popular browsers in current versions are capable of SSL connections. The first connection to a secure server (indicated by https) your browser will request a certificate and a key. On this key and an ID, both tested with corresponding checksums,  the connection to the server will be etsblished and continued. The browser will continue using these data continuously ensure that he is really connected to the correct server. Before the browser presents the connection to the user as a sure test, the browser check the server by inquiry of datas.
