5 Dollars JOUSTING Knight Games 1 Oz Silver Coin 5$ Cook Islands 2026 FB

This fierce 1 Oz Silver coin is part of the "Knight Games" series, a journey into the spectacle, discipline, and danger of medieval combat. This edition enters the lists with Jousting. Lance lowered. Hooves pounding. No retreat. The reverse places the viewer inside a knight's helmet as an armored opponent charges directly forward, turning the coin into a breathtaking first-person encounter. Crowds press against the barriers. Banners rise. Steel meets courage. Selective Color brings flashes of red and warm metallic tones into the tournament scene, while luminous Proof surfaces sharpen the armor, heraldry, and architecture surrounding the field. On the opposite side, a kneeling knight evokes William Marshal, celebrated on the coin as "THE GREATEST KNIGHT WHO EVER LIVED." Honor. Skill. A life measured in steel. Limited to 750 pieces worldwide. The reverse of this Silver coin captures Jousting from an extraordinary first-person perspective. The composition appears to look outward through the narrow opening of a medieval helmet. Ahead, an armored knight charges on horseback with his lance extended directly toward the viewer. The arena closes around him. Spectators crowd the barriers on both sides. Flags rise above the stands. The distance disappears. Selective Color introduces flashes of red, gold, and darker metallic tones across the charging knight, his horse, and the tournament scene, creating dramatic contrast against the surrounding Silver. At the top, the helmet is decorated with heraldic symbols: a lion shield to the left and a cross to the right. At the bottom, rows of ventilation holes reinforce the illusion of seeing the encounter from inside the armor. At the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: "2026" - the year of issue. The obverse presents a richly detailed medieval scene centered on a kneeling armored knight holding a sword upright before him. His polished armor dominates the foreground, while a castle, tournament spectators, banners, tents, and heraldic imagery create a dense historical setting behind him. To the left, a shield bears a rampant lion. To the right, the left-facing Effigy of King Charles III is integrated into the composition. All around the obverse, the inscriptions: "COOK ISLANDS" - the issuing country, "5 DOLLARS" - the face value, and "CHARLES III" - the name of the monarch.
