5 Dollars MAPPING HISTORY 1 Oz Silver Coin 5$ Samoa 2027 Aspect flan bruni

This extraordinary 1 Oz Silver coin is a voyage into the world as it was imagined centuries ago. "Mapping History" recreates a magnificent 17th Century world map, where coastlines, oceans, distant lands, ships, allegorical figures, and portraits of great cartographers unfold across an elaborate historical composition. Exploration without satellites. Discovery drawn by hand. A world still filled with mystery. Crafted with the innovative Fine Metal Canvas Technique and enhanced by premium colour printing, the map emerges with remarkable depth and precision, while the Proof-like finish illuminates its finest details. History becomes metal. Geography becomes art. Limited to 999 pieces worldwide. The reverse of this Silver coin presents a meticulously recreated 17th Century world map in a richly detailed rectangular composition. Two vast hemispheres dominate the design, charting the known world through delicate geographic lines, period place names, sailing ships, oceans, and unexplored territories. Around them, portraits, mythological figures, celestial imagery, decorative cartouches, and allegorical scenes evoke an age when every voyage could redraw the boundaries of knowledge. The Fine Metal Canvas Technique transforms the historic engraving into a textured metallic surface, while premium colour printing preserves the aged tones and intricate character of the original cartography. At the top of the reverse, the inscription: "NOVA TOTIVS TERRARVM ORBIS GEOGRAPHICA AC HYDROGRAPHICA TABVLA. Auct. Henr. Hondio." - the original title and attribution of the historic map. At the bottom, integrated into the elaborate cartographic artwork, appears the legal-tender element of the coin. The obverse reproduces the historic map in finely sculpted Silver relief, revealing its twin hemispheres, geographic grid, ornamental borders, portraits, and decorative figures without coloration. At the bottom, the Coat of Arms of Samoa forms the official issuing element. Around it, the inscriptions: "SAMOA 2027" - the issuing country and the year of issue, "FAAVAE I LE ATUA SAMOA" - the national motto, "1oz" - the weight of the coin, "$5" - the face value, and "Ag999" - the fineness and metal designation of the Silver.
