This imaginative coin is the inaugural issue of the "Mythical Creatures" series and is dedicated to the Troll, a legendary figure from European folklore. Struck in Copper alloy with Uncirculated quality, the coin features vivid coloration and an innovative UV light effect that reveals hidden details, bringing the mythical creature to life and blurring the line between fantasy and reality. This release invites collectors into a magical world shaped by imagination. Limited mintage of 65.000 pieces worldwide. The reverse of the coin depicts a powerful and richly detailed Troll crouched beneath a stone bridge, rendered with striking realism and expressive character. Golden ornamental elements frame the scene, while a mysterious four-toed footprint adds a subtle narrative detail rooted in folklore. When exposed to UV light, the design dramatically transforms: hidden colours ignite, the inscription "TROLL" glows vividly, and the creature appears to awaken, enhancing the magical atmosphere of the composition. The year of issue "2025" is integrated into the design, completing this immersive fantasy scene. The obverse of the coin features an intricately decorated key, symbolizing access to a hidden world of myths and legends. At its center, the letter "F" represents the first letter of the German name of the series, while shimmering stars and irregular, whimsical lettering surround the motif, evoking the unpredictability of a magical realm. The textured relief reinforces the fairy-tale aesthetic. Along the rim, the inscriptions read: "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" - the issuing country, and "3 EURO" - the face value.
