NGC MS 63.
An impressive and beautifully preserved large silver double taler of the last Elector of Hesse-Cassel, Friedrich Wilhelm I (1847-1866), 1854. Very popular in between collectors, this coin has well-preserved reflective fields covered with attractive toning, some residual luster more prominent on reverse, sharp uncirculated details. Excessive contact marks on obverse determine the grade - MS 63 by NGC. CP - variety. Very appealing collectible coin! Great investment find as well!!
