Another large uncirculated coin, 2 Thalers of Ludwig I of Bavaria, so-called "Historic Double Thaler" - desirable piece for any German Coin collectors! This one is 1837 to Commemorate the Monetary Union of the Southern German States. Uncirculated fields with attractive pink champagne toning, more prominent towards the edges! Sharp strike with Cameo-like details of the design. Clear reflective fields. Single hairlines as well as tiny scratch on obverse determine the grade - MS 63 by NGC. Mislabeled as "Taler" on NGC holder. Two star variety - rare and popular in between collectors coin!! Great investment item!!
