This is a so-called "Union Taler" or "Vereinsthaler" of Ernst of Saxe-Altenburg (1853-1908). There are no mintage numbers for proof coinage of this type in Krause and it is an extremely hard to find ANY proof specimens on Auctions. We are offering one with clear mirrored fields, satin strike of the design and amazing details! Slightly toned with dark shadows towards the edges. Some contact marks and hairlines determine the grade - PROOF 62 by NGC. Popular and RARE collectible item on ANY auctions! Great investment find as well!
We ship Domestically and Internationally by US First Class Registered Mail (Registered Mail is still considered as the most secure way to send and we want you to get your coin!!!). Shipping is FREE!
